The story that I share with these ladies is a deeply profound one. They have both taught me so much about myself & for that I am forever grateful. I'm sure you can imagine the tremendous joy that washed over me the day they asked me to photograph their Wedding. I was honored & so excited for so many reasons that I cannot even begin to touch on in this blog post. it is, however, of great value to note that this was the first Gay Wedding I've gotten to photograph, something I had longed to capture for many years. As an openly bisexual woman it is of utmost importance to me to capture love in all its boundless forms & to show the world that love is not about gender, it's about LOVE!!! Two people coming together to share their lives in the most connected, sacred way that they can. I am PROUD to stand with the LGBTQ community & honored to celebrate our human right to love who we choose.
Byrd & Isa had me join in their family adventures the day before their Wedding which is my favorite way to photograph weddings. I love getting to spend quality time with the humans I will be photographing so heavily because it allows them to open up to me in a way that is often lost when I show up on site at a wedding & no one really knows me.
From Muir Woods, to The Marshall Store on hwy 1, to a lovely Stinson Beach rehearsal dinner, to the all time epic Slide Ranch ocean side Wedding venue, we rocked the house & proudly felt the love.
